A Late Update


Wow. It has been a hot minute since I touched up this game *Cough* *Cough* Last Update 3/25 *Cough* *Cough*. I honestly should’ve updated this around like, May or June, but I kept doing other game jams and getting distracted. Anyways. 

Changelog;

  • Updated the resolution of the game so it actually fits on most screens without going into fullscreen. 
  • Made I-frames last longer, and added a visual indicator for when they’re active. 
  • Updated to unity 2021 and fixed all the UI bs that caused. Including fixing the active item UI so it doesn’t jerk all over the screen every time you move.
  • Fixed the goddamn speed so it’s not running at 2mph. Kinda hate how much faster it is in the editor vs how slow it was in the build, but finally fixed it. 

New Stuff

  • Added an actual ending to the game so it’s not an infinite dungeon crawler 
  • Added difficulty options that changes where the ending level is.

That’s probably gonna be where this version stands for now. I have so many more ideas for this game, but that’s for a later time. Current plan is making a Mausoleum Redux that has all those ideas in them, but that’s awhile down the road. That’s honestly one of the reasons why this update took so long too. Because I wasn’t sure if I should leave this version as is, or make the Redux and have all the updates there. But yeah. Probably done with this version, maybe expect a mausoleum redux in the future.
